Micrometer Calibron is a device that measures the linear dimensions of various small parts by contact method, by means of a mechanism, a micro pair of nut–screw, with accuracy (up to 2 mm). Such a measuring instrument micrometer is based on the action of the movement of the screw along the axis by rotating it in a nut that is stationary. Moving along the axis, the screw can only be proportional to the angle of rotation around the axis. A scale is applied on the stem of the device, according to which the full revolutions are counted, and their fractions are marked on the drum. In the device, the micrometer unit of measurement is a micron (micron). The optimal movement of the nut is no longer than 25 mm, this is due to the impossibility of manufacturing on large screw lengths with an accurate pitch.
