The Calibron runout meters are designed to check the runout of cylindrical parts (shafts, pulleys, gears) installed in the centers. The control can be carried out both on cylindrical and on end surfaces. The devices consist of a bed, right and left headstock, a carriage assembly with an indicator stand equipped with a micro-feed, an ICH-10 clock type indicator. The right headstock has a movable pinole with a center. To secure the pinole, the headstock has a locking device. The center of the left headstock moves only with the last one. By special order, both centers are equipped with a hard alloy. Both headstock can move along the frame guides and are fixed to it with clips in any place, depending on the length of the part being checked. A carriage with an indicator stand is installed opposite the area being checked and is mounted on the frame in the same way as the headstock. The indicator is fixed in the holder with clips. Rough installation is performed by moving the micro-feed unit along the column, fine tuning is done using micro-feed.

About Kalibron

The name of the Calibron trademark does not come at all from the sharply reduced production of the Moscow tool company with a consonant name, but from the first micrometer, which was invented and manufactured by Carl Mahr in 1868, and called "caliber".
